Dallas' voice echoed towards them "Did you do it.?" He growled.
Lex stood straight but didn't meet his alpha's eyes, "Yes Dallas."

Brooke followed his example, but unlike Lex, she met Dallas' eyes. That was the moment she realized how truly terrifying he was to her. How he could simply stride over and end her simple life whenever he pleased. She was now more then ever afraid that he didn't approve of her. Her stomach turned as she thought of failing their mission. Dallas would have been most infuriated. It took a lot of will power not to shiver. Now more then anything she wanted to get out of that cave and away from Dallas.

Dallas seemed to revel in their fear of him, his presence made the air feel heavy but also cold. "Now leave me." He gave no congratulations nor praise. The only thing that told them they did good was the fact that their Alpha hadn't attacked them.
Lex visibly relaxed but not much, all he thought while being near Dallas was if his next beating would be in front of Brooke. Dallas had attacked him in front of other pack members but not often. Only because then they would know the reason why he was punished. The BlackBlood Beta, a shame on his pack because of his weakness from young rogues and loners. Lex briskly walked away from the cave, looking both shocked and confused while trying to keep calm.
