Here's something to clear up the age groups:
1 year or younger = Pup
1-2 years = Apprentice
2+ years = Hunter/Warrior/Scout

Here's something about the ranks:
You have to earn alpha male/female, and beta male/female if there is already by wining that wolf's heart or forcefully challenging them, winner has the choice of what happens to the loser.
