*Andromeda was walking in the hot springs*

(Ahhh! I didn't see this! Life has been crazy for me. Sorry for not responding. Yes, I would like to play!)

*Skiv sniffed and caught the scent of a wolf. Knowing the larger predator might want to eat him, he abandoned the squirrel he had been eating and climbed up into a tree on the fringes of the hot springs. In the process he accidentally knocked down a pine cone, which landed with a loud noise on a rock.*

[Andromeda]

(Lol it's no problem, crazy life for me too. )

*Andromeda stopped walking when she heard the pine cone drop and she looked around for the cause. She then cocked her head to the side and listened carefully while she drew in deep breaths, taking in all the scents around her*

*From his perch in the tree Skiv watched as the wolf sniffed the air.* Dang it, is she going to eat my squirrel? I should have tried to bring it with me. *Skiv crawled back to the center of the tree where he would be hidden by pine needles.* "That squirrel is mine. Don't eat it." *He watched the wolf for a reaction, hoping that she would listen to him.*

[Andromeda]

*She looked up towards where she had heard the voice coming from, but she didn't see him. She sniffed the air again and caught the scent of the squirrel* "It's half-eaten. That's gross." *She smirked and started walking in circles through the hot springs again*

*Relieved that the wolf wouldn't eat his squirrel, Skiv considered climbing down from the tree to finish his meal. He was hesitant to do so because the wolf still could want to eat him. He figured he might as well ask and see if it was safe.* "Are you hungry?"

[Andromeda]

"Always am." *She stopped walking and pawed at the water*

*Skiv clawed the bark of the tree in frustration. He wanted to finish his meal, but didn't want to risk becoming a meal himself in the process. He decided he would just have to risk it. He climbed down the tree and went back to his squirrel, keeping a careful eye on the wolf.*

*She looked up and watched him*

*He finished the squirrel and went over to a hot spring to wash the blood off.*

*She kept watching him*

"Do I look tasty or something?" *He took a drink from the spring*

[Andromeda]

"No..." *She cocked her head in a confused way while she watched him* "Are you a squirrel or a meerkat?"

*Skiv suppressed a laugh.* "Neither. I'm a marten."

[Andromeda]

"Marten..." she repeated it to herself

"Do I really look that much like a squirrel?" he asked.

[Andromeda]

"Kinda. Like a squirrel-cat mix."

[Deleted]

"Well, I suppose it is good that I look cat like too. Makes me a bit less likely to be eaten if I look like I can defend myself. What are you doing at the hotsprings?"

[Andromeda]

She looked at his claws and she thought he could definitely defend himself "Taking a bath."

"Just can't decide which pool to bathe in, I guess? They don't differ in temperature that much."
